Heading (#, name, date) on top right side of paper
Title of book on top line, underlined
Author's name should be written underneath the title
Summary is written after skipping a line. This paragraph should have the main idea and other sentences telling about main idea. Depending on the type of book your child reads, the summary should be either about the topic of the book or the main events that happen in the book and the order that they happened.
The "reaction paragraph" should come in at the end telling why others would want to read the book too.
DO NOT PLAGIARIZE!!! Plagiarism is copying someone else's words instead of using your own words. It is not only illegal, but it also makes for a boring book report. We want to hear what your child has to say about the book, not for your child to read the book to us.
