Helping Your Child with Homework
Homework Homework is your child’s responsibility, not yours (even if he/she tries to convince you otherwise). At the beginning of the year, your child may need more help with homework, but by the end of the first month, he/she should be independently completing homework in a reasonable amount of time. Most students in the past told me that they completed the written portion in 10-20 minutes a day.

One of the hardest things for parents to do is to let their child grow up. Having them be responsible for their homework, holding them accountable for their own actions, and expecting them to do the right thing even if nobody is looking is all part of growing up. It’s exciting to watch your child grow to be a responsible and respectful person. (Good news is that they’ll always be your baby : )
